CSI Case Files Design Team Call Spring 2016 (Term runs from May 2016 - October 2016)

Would you like to join our team and be a CSI Detective?

Here's how to apply for a position on the CSI design team:
Between now and April 8, create at least one layout using our March Case Files (Nos. 193, 194, and 195) Be sure to follow the guidelines that can be found here and here. You might also want to read our mission to see what we're all about. Please make sure you upload your layout(s) to the gallery by each Case File's deadline (I need to know that you are able to meet deadlines).
Once you have created your layout(s) using the above Case Files, please send a message to me indicating that you would like to apply for the team. Please title your message "DT Call." In your message, please include links to your blog and any online galleries that display your work. This call is open to everyone, including past and present design team members.
If you are selected to join the design team:
CSI Detectives are required to complete at least two layouts a month and be a presence on the site by commenting in the gallery. Detectives also vote for the layouts to be placed Under Surveillance (this duty happens approximately once every other month). We are looking for enthusiastic, positive people to join our team of Detectives!
The term will run six months, from from the beginning of May 2016 until the end of October 2016.
We hope you'll apply, and we can't wait to see what you will make with the March Case Files!
Please feel free to ask any questions here in this thread or send a message to me through CSI messaging.
Deadline for submitting your application to me is April 9, 2016.

Some "Laws"

  • Because one of our main goals is to "tell your story," CSI is intended to be a scrapbooking challenge site. We hope that our color schemes and the other elements of the challenge inspire all paper crafters, and you are welcome to share projects inspired by our Case Files in our gallery; however prizes and features are limited to scrapbookers.
  • Only layouts created for CSI challenges should be uploaded to our gallery. You may combine other challenges with this challenge (e.g., sketch challenges), but please do not upload previously created layouts that just happen to match the color palette.
  • Your layout should include all five colors, at least three elements from "The Evidence," and at least one element from "Testimony." Please write what you used from the Evidence and testimony in your description when you upload. On the second week of each month, you should use the Page Drafts sketch provided in order to qualify for a sponsor prize. See more details about these elements here.
  • Please resize your layouts to 800 pixels wide.
  • Due to bandwith limits, please do not include closeups as separate posts in the gallery. If you would like to show closeups, do so in the description of your layout. Directions for how to do this can be found here.
  • Name your layout with the case number and the title of your layout. For example, if your layout is called "Lost Ring" and it was for Case File No. 3, name it like this: 3 - Lost Ring.
  • Please tag your layout with the number of the Case File. For example, if your layout was created for Case File No. 3, simply tag it with 3.
  • Please do not create albums. Administrators will create albums into which will go all the layouts created for a given challenge.
  • If you post your layouts created for this challenge on a blog or other online gallery, please credit CSI, with a link to our site. We would also love it if you included the Case File image in your blog posts!
  • The deadline for the challenge is 11:59 pm EST, a week from Sunday following the reveal. This basically gives you a week plus an extra weekend to get your layout done. (This deadline applies to prizes and features. Feel free to play along with past challenges and share in the gallery.)
  • Follow the golden rule when interacting in our community. CSI is a fun, positive place to hang out, and we want to keep it that way!
