Creative Stamping Issue 45 - Sprinkled with Love

You can get some inspiration from this Youtube Video by Christina Griffiths from http://www.card-making-magic.com or http://flowersribbonsandpearls.blogspot.co.uk as well and do not forget to check out the Papercraft Magazines website and Facebook pages for inspiration from other readers. and do not forget to click here to download your templates.

You can get some inspiration from this Youtube Video by Cutie little Souls.

Here is a video by Christine Smith from  CRaFTi PoTeNTiAl :D. as well and if you like what you see in the videos remember to click the like button and subscribe to their channels and go look at her blog for lots more inspiration.

And always remember and if you like what you see in the video's remember to click the like button and subscribe to their channels and blogs.

Here are three cards that I made using these stamps.

I stamped the heart shaped background stamp a number of times using clear Versamark ink and then heat embossed Detailed White embossing powder before adding Wold Honey, Old Paper, Weathered Wood and Worn Lipstick Distress ink.  I the stamped the cake and message using Versafine Black ink and coloured the image using my Spectrum Noir pens.

I used a Sentiment from an old Nina Crafts stamp with the free gift and stamped in Versafine Black ink before the image using my Spectrum Noir pens.

I used the Creative Embossing Cascading Collection 5x7 Embossing Folder - Sprinkles from Craftstash with Wild Honey Distress Ink for my background and cut a frame using a Sizzix Stephanie Barnard Thinlets Drop-ins die step.  The Apron was coloured using CREATIVE IMAGINATIONS - Luminarte Twinkling h2o watercolours, I am not sure if you can still get these as I have had them since started crafting many years ago.

Die Cutting Machine I own and use

The Crossover by Cheery Lynn Designsis my go to for any A4 dies.  I got mine some time ago and really love it.  I also love the handy carry bag that came with it.  I only bought this one because the Sizzix Bigshot Plus had not yet been announced.

Here is the introduction videos so you can get a better idea of what it looks like and how it work:

For normal dies I used my trusted Sizzix Bigshot plus for most projects.  I had the original Black and Pink version but unfortuately it got broken by the kids during our move a few years ago, so I replaced it with the teal version.  Great because now I have both the standard and extended multipurpose cutting platforms.

For Smaller thinlet dies I love my Baby Blue by Tattered Lace because you can emboss or cut up the 3" or 7.5 cm wide and the plates are 6.2 x 3.1" or 16cm x 8cm in size.  The only thing that I do not like is the price of replacement cutting plates as you have to buy the A and B plates seperate and they cost more the my Bigshot's plates.  You can  find an Instruction Manual and Step-by-Steps guide on the Tattered Lace Website.

And for standard embossing when I am not die cutting I use the Sizzix Texture Boutique Embossing Machine

Hope you have found this post useful and remember:

Crafting on a Budget

So here is the second post of crafting on a budget and again the most expensive part of my card was the inks and glue.

For today's card, I used dies and a  Layered floral stamp set, from AliExpress.  Total Purchase £ 8.53.

Supplies list:
Dew Drop Inks was used:
Summer Sky
Danube Blue
Paris Dusk
Pear Tart
Bamboo Leaves
Olive Grove

£4.77
£2.41

£1.35
Base: 5.5" x 4.25"  from Poundland
Mat: 5.5" x 4.25" Vellum I had in my craft stash from a very long time ago.

So as you can see this time the total came to a bit more but still not too bad when you consider a similar alphabet stamp from Apple Blossom cost £9.99.
