Die-Cutting Essentials Issue 25 - goes on sale Thursday, 18th June 2017 and have a lovely die and stamp set Cover gift called Hit the Road.  Mine was delivered yesterday and I had great fun creating these fun cards.

So these would have retailed at £55.93 in total and you would only pay £29.99. Again I am  not happy with the selection of items as I do not find the inspirational at all.  I have decided not to continue with the subscription.

Crafting on a Budget

I am hoping to post a card or two every Sunday made from items I purchased either in a Sale or from AliExpress, just to show that you do not always have to spend a fortune on products to get a great result.  The most expensive part of my cards was the inks and glue.

The Stamp set cost me £1.16 including post and packaging from Aliexpress and was delivered 21days after I ordered it.  You can find the link below in my Supplies list

Papercraft Essentials Issue 147 - Happy Hooves

Papercraft Essentials Issue 147 went on sale Thursday, 1st 2017 and have a lovely card and die set Cover gift called Happy Hooves.

 Mine was delivered yesterday and the girls really love the horse die that can also be turned into a unicorn.  Here is their cards using the die and free downloadable paper that you can download here.

Creative Stamping Issue 43

Here is my mascular cards using the Stamps.  I also used the X-Cut-A6-Universal-Tri-Boss-Folder Cronology - Cogs, Just for Men decorative metal dies- Cogs and gears from the signature collection by Sara Davies and the little robot is from Aliexpress.

These Robot Dies only cost £3.67 including post and packaging but you have to be patient as it can take up to 30 days to deliver.

The Top Pick for last week's challenge

So I can not believe it but I won the Twisted Thursday Challenge at The Outlawz for last week with this card:

My first Challenge win, hooray.

"Berry" Best Friends.

I hope you like my card using the Life is Sweet Corner Die & Stamp set. I die cut the corner die 6 times and coloured it using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers (CT3, AG1, AG2 and DP3).  I also used as small flower punch I had in my craft stash for the flowers and after shaping the strawberries slightly covered the top strawberry with Crystal Effects. For the butterfly, I created a basic shape out of vellum and then used a Xcut die for the main body before using to corner die cuts for the wings.  It took a little longer than usual because of all the detail but I am very happy with the result.

I used to get stuck on this type of die, as I did not realise that you could simply cut it out of white card and colour it.  I also though you can only use it the way it is, I have to admit I really enjoyed thinking out of the box this time.

Die-cutting Essentials 24 Cover Gift Inspiration

Die-cutting Essentials issue 24 hit the shelves on Thursday 18^th May and came with a 6-in-1 Mix & Matt nesting die set!  My copy from Practical Publishing arrived without the dies and I was told that I would have to wait up to 28 days for a replacement.  I ordered another copy from Cutting Edge Crafts and it arrived yesterday.  Typical I receive my dies from Practical Publishing.
